Big Bend Birding Weekend
DATE: 5:30 PM Friday October 9 to 5 PM Saturday October 10th
COST: $95 per person (bunk plus 3 meals). A portion of the fee represents a tax-deductible donation supporting student research scholarships.
Migrate to the northwestern Florida Gulf coast for a short weekend of birding that includes:
-a lecture on bird identification and migration
-a field trip (carpooled)
-an overnight stay in lab dormitories
-a low country local seafood boil
Instructor: Dr. Todd Engstrom, Associate Director of the FSUCML, Dr. Alan Knothe, Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve
What to bring: Binoculars, bird guide.
